Abstract Kathryn Mohrman (1993-2002) became the first female president of Colorado College in 1993. She received her B.A. from Grinnell College, her M.A. from the University of Wisconsin, and her Ph.D. from George Washington University. Prior her appointment at CC, Mohrman worked as a professor at at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and Brown University.
