Abstract
Thurston J. Davies was the president of the Colorado College from 1934-1948 (Director, Navy V-12 program, 1943-1945). After graduating from Princeton University in 1916, he served in the Marines during WWI and received two Purple Hearts. After the war, Davies taught school in Baltimore, Maryland and Buffalo, New York, where he became headmaster in 1925. He was appointed president of CC in 1934.
