Biographical / Historical

In 1977, Otis A. Barnes and Margaret T. Barnes established a lectureship in Chemistry and Allied Fields of Science so that lectures by "internationally known scientists" could be supported by the earnings of the Barnes Trust, an endowment fund initially established to provide scholarships for chemistry students at the Colorado College.
