Scope and Contents
Deceased Alumni: This series includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, biographical data, obituaries, photographs, and fundraising materials concerning Colorado College alumni from 1874-1994.
Class Notes: Records for each graduating class year reflecting changes in the academic and social culture of the college are contained in these files. Materials include reunion directories, symposium bulletins, "New Faces" directories, commencement and convocation bulletins, correspondence papers, newspaper clippings, and photographs from 1900-2005.
Metro Areas: Fundraising and recruitment efforts in big cities from 1956-2006, both national and international, are documented in this series.
Homecoming and Reunions: The records includes organizational materials for homecomings and reunions at the Colorado College between the years of 1939 and 2007. Papers document the events and are accompanied by photographs. Special Reunions for the hockey team, Tour Choir, and the "Bemis Boys" are arranged in a separate subseries.
Administrative materials: The materials in this series represent the activities of the Alumni Club from 1984-2000, inaguration materials for Gresham Riley and Kathryn Mohrman, papers from the Tutt House Committee and the Women's Educational Society in addition to information about other smaller projects and clubs. These papers and photographs were created between 1874 and 2021.
Programs: The Office of Alumni and Friends has organized multiple programs and groups over the years, the most documented being the 50 Year Club, travel programs, honorary degrees and awards, Adopt-a-studet, National Alumni Council, Alumni Parent Weekend and the Alumni Leadership Forum. The records of these groups contain organizational information and documentation of activities from 1874-2021.
Photographs and Artifacts: The collection contains numerous photos, many documenting the Student Alumni Association, all created between 1874 and 2010. Artifacts are separately housed.

Conditions Governing Access
Alumni records containing information about individual students are available for research 75 years after the last known date of attendance. Institutional records are closed for a period of 30 years. During this period, in consultation with Special Collections and Archives at Tutt, staff of the Office of Alumni and Friends may view the materials for administrative purposes.
